This medal celebrates the non-commissioned officers of Ukraine’s Armed Forces. These officers have proved their effectiveness and importance since the Russo-Ukrainian war broke out in 2014, and have been contributing to the Ukrainian army’s successful repelling of the russian occupation forces since the full-scale invasion began on 24 February 2022. This medal also celebrates the heroic deeds of these officers.

Obverse: against a smooth background, is the slogan of Ukrainian non-commissioned officers СЛІДУЙ ЗА МНОЮ! РОБИ ЯК Я! (Follow me! Do as I do!); in the center is a Ukrainian leader sergeant who is leading soldiers into battle; above are Ukraine’s small coat of arms, the legend УКРАЇНА (Ukraine), and the medal’s issue year 2023; to the left of the sergeant is the mint mark of the NBU’s Banknote Printing and Minting Works.

Reverse: above is the following semicircular legend: СЕРЖАНТСЬКИЙ КОРПУС ЗБРОЙНИХ СИЛ УКРАЇНИ (the Sergeant Corps of Ukraine’s Armed Forces); below is the following semicircular legend: ЧЕСТЬ, ВІДДАНІСТЬ, ВІДПОВІДАЛЬНІСТЬ, ПРОФЕСІОНАЛІЗМ (Honesty, Commitment, Responsibility and Professionalism), which is the motto of non-commissioned officers of Ukraine’s Armed Forces; in the center, against a smooth background, is the emblem of the Sergeant Corps of Ukraine’s Armed Forces and the stylized trident that is used by Ukraine’s Armed Forces.
